Data controller
VANTIS is the Veteran Analysis & Intelligence System. VANTIS is currently operated by Stuart Mendelson, who is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

Contact enquiries
When the website contact form is enabled, we will collect your name, email address, message and any organisation or subject information you choose to provide. This information will be used to receive, manage and respond to your enquiry. The intended lawful basis is legitimate interests in corresponding with people who choose to contact VANTIS.
VANTIS email updates
Email signup is not currently enabled. Before it is enabled, VANTIS will implement a separate affirmative consent process, confirmation workflow and unsubscribe facility, together with appropriate records of consent.
Technical information
Website hosting and security infrastructure may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the service, such as network requests, IP addresses, browser information and security logs. This information is not used by VANTIS for advertising or behavioural profiling.
Research and analytical data
VANTIS brings together national statistics, local authority data and information obtained through Freedom of Information requests. This website notice concerns personal information processed through the website itself. It does not imply that the underlying VANTIS research datasets contain identifiable personal information.
Service providers
Technical service providers are used to host and secure the website and may be used to store website submissions. Further information about any additional services used for requested email updates will be included before that function is enabled.
Retention
Contact enquiries will normally be retained for up to 24 months after the last substantive correspondence, unless there is a legal, contractual or safeguarding reason to retain relevant information for longer. Information that is no longer required will be deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
